Ultramed which is specialized in medical disposables is investing one million dollars by the end of 2024 to add a new medical plastic granules (PVC) production line and a new Three Way Stop Cock production line.

El-Aggar confirmed that the company is planning to increase their production capacity for some products in addition to buying a new I.V. Cannulas production line to reach 60 million pieces yearly production.

Moreover, Ultramed intends to register in the Brazilian market to explore more export opportunities in South America markets.

Ultramed ’s factory located in the Industrial zone, Assiut on 13,000m3 area & it includes 15 production lines specialized in medical disposables.

Around 1,100 employees work at Ultramed, and the company trains its employees annually through an Indian expert; in addition to organizing annual trips including engineers and chemists for training in India and to transfer of expertise to Ultramed ‘s factory in Egypt.

Addition to plastic granules and three-way stop cock production lines, in recent years, the company has carried out expansions that included new production lines for catheters which increased the production capacity from two million pieces to three million pieces annually with raising the efficiency and the quality of the product using new imported technologies from China, India and Denmark.
